FAQ

Absolutely! I tested my candles rigorously for months, sourcing the cleanest ingredients possible to ensure a soot-free burn.

A wooden wick is simply a cleaner and more natural burn. Most cotton wicks are dipped in beeswax or paraffin, even bleached and soaked in chemicals to increase the burn quality (but decrease the health quality). My wicks are made with FSC Certified wood which ensures sustainability and ethical harvest of forests.

NOPE! None. Not so fun fact: most candle wicks are dipped in either beeswax or paraffin and the manufacturers don’t make this information readily available to customers.

Nope! The dreamy off white color is from the coconut. Sometimes a fragrance or essential oil will give the wax a slight tint (Orange Blossom gives the wax a pale yellow color), but all my candles are 100% dye free and any discoloration due to fragrance or essential oil will be noted in the product description.

Yes! Although the jars look like frosted glass, which is not recyclable, this jar is specially manufactured to be recycled curbside.

Yes–but not all synthetic fragrances are created equally. My fragrance manufacturer makes some of the cleanest fragrance oils on the market. They are free of phthalates (and similar materials), carcinogens, mutagens, acute toxins, organ toxins, and reproductive toxins, as well as anything on the California Prop 65 List.

Yes. I took great strides in making sure that my materials are all recyclable–some are already upcycled, and some are even biodegradable! Even the things you don’t think of like the shipping label and tape are all eco-friendly.
